Gastroenterology Physician

Opportunity Details:
- Inpatient / hospital-based Gastroenterology coverage
- 100% inpatient
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- Approximately 8 follow-up patients and 6 8 new consults per day
- 24-hour call coverage
- Saturday 7:00 AM through the following Saturday at 7:00 AM
- In-house coverage from 7:00 AM 7:00 PM , followed by pager/beeper overnight
- Approximately 1 week of coverage per month
- Call ratio: 1:4
- Average call-back: approximately 2 hours/week
- Epic EMR
- Level II Trauma Center
- No teaching or leadership responsibilities
- ERCP experience preferred, but not required
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Gastroenterology fellowship required
- Active Michigan medical license
- ACLS and BLS through AHA
- Experience with hospital-based GI procedures, including:
- Colonoscopy
- EGD
- ERCP
- Advanced GI procedures
- Epic EMR experience preferred
