Gastroenterology Physician

Schedule:

• Monday Friday: 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
  
• Weeknight call: 5:00 PM 7:00 AM
  
• Weekend: 24-hour call rotation
  
• Nights and weekends required

Opportunity:

• Locum Gastroenterology coverage in a hospital setting
  
• Multiple providers may be considered to fulfill the coverage
  
• EPIC EMR
  
• Approximately procedures/day
  
• Approximately 12 hospital-based patients/day

Procedures:

• EGD
  
• Colonoscopy
  
• Lower GI endoscopy
  
• Sigmoidoscopy
  
• Small bowel biopsy
  
• Capsule deployment
  
• Esophageal dilation

Requirements:

• Board Certified
  
• Active Illinois Medical License
  
• DEA
• Controlled Substance CSR/CDS

Travel:

• Airfare and lodging provided within applicable travel guidelines
