• Shift: 24-hour call, 7:00 AM 7:00 AM

• Call Ratio: 1:3

Coverage Dates: Providers must specify all available dates. Weekend-only availability is not required.

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient gastroenterology consultation and call coverage.
  
• Evaluate and manage patients with gastrointestinal conditions.
  
• Perform relevant diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures as clinically indicated and within the provider's privileges.
  
• Respond to hospital calls within the required 30-minute timeframe.
  
• Coordinate patient care with the hospital's clinical team.
  

Note: ERCP and EUS are not required for hospital emergency department or call coverage.

Required Qualifications:

• Board-certified in Gastroenterology.
  
• Active Missouri medical license or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
  
• Current ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications.
  
• Ability to provide 24-hour call coverage and respond within 30 minutes.
  
• Hospital privileges or eligibility for temporary privileges, as applicable.
