Join our team in the beautiful city of Petoskey, Michigan, where we are seeking a Gastroenterology provider for a dynamic medical facility. This role offers a schedule of Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 5 PM with 24-hour weekend call, providing an excellent work-life balance in a supportive clinic environment. Enjoy state-of-the-art facilities, including an onsite lab and X-ray, with the convenience of an electronic medical record system (Cerner). Collaborate with a dedicated support team comprised of 2 physicians and 2 Advanced Practice Providers to deliver quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct outpatient consultations and procedures, with an expectation of 18 outpatients and 20 inpatient scopes per day.
- Provide endoscopy coverage and manage consults from 7 AM to 4:30 PM.
- Collaborate with medical staff, including a supportive team of fellow physicians and APPs.
- Utilize onsite lab and imaging services to enhance patient care.
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology (Truly Board Eligible candidates may be considered).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of post-fellowship experience in a clinical setting.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Active Michigan Medical License.
- Board Certification (required).
- ACLS Certification (required).
- DEA License with verbal confirmation.
- Current immunizations including Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Flu, and TDAP, as well as tuberculosis documentation.
