- Shared 1:4 call schedule
- Four dedicated Advanced Practice Providers providing clinical support
- Advanced endoscopy capabilities
- Stable, collaborative physician team
- Fellowship-trained Gastroenterologists encouraged to apply
- Diagnose, evaluate, and treat a broad range of gastrointestinal disorders.
- Perform outpatient and inpatient gastroenterology consultations.
- Perform upper and lower endoscopic procedures.
- Perform advanced GI procedures based on training and experience.
- Collaborate with primary care physicians, surgeons, hospitalists, and multidisciplinary care teams.
- Participate in a shared call rotation.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and program development.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Eligible for unrestricted Louisiana medical licensure
- Active DEA registration or ability to obtain
- Excellent communication and collaborative practice skills
- ERCP training
- Experience with Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)
- Interest in advanced endoscopy procedures
