A healthcare network in Westchester County is seeking a licensed Gastroenterologist for weekend on-call coverage. This locum tenens opportunity involves providing GI consultations in a hospital setting with no trauma coverage required.

About the Opportunity:

  • Schedule: Friday to Monday morning (weekends only)
  • Hours: 24-hour weekend call coverage
  • Setting: Hospital

Responsibilities:

  • Provide weekend on-call Gastroenterology coverage
  • Manage standard GI consultations in the hospital
  • Respond to hospital needs within 30 minutes during call coverage
  • Coordinate patient care during assigned weekend coverage periods
  • Maintain availability for at least one weekend per month

Qualifications:

  • Active New York medical license
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent gastroenterology experience
  • Ability to remain within 30 minutes of the hospital during call coverage
  • Availability for at least one weekend per month
