Assignment Details

  • Location: Columbia, Missouri
  • Specialty: Gastroenterology
  • Start Date: January 1, 2027
  • End Date: June 30, 2027
  • Schedule: 14 days on / 14 days off
  • Hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Setting: Primarily inpatient with possible outpatient clinic coverage
  • Call: Required; rotation to be determined
  • Patient Volume: Approximately 12 inpatients per day
  • Compensation: Target $350/hour, negotiable based on experience and procedural capabilities

Clinical Requirements

  • Board Certified in Gastroenterology
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Strong inpatient gastroenterology experience
  • Upper and lower GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, biopsies, and polypectomy experience
  • Advanced endoscopy experience, including ERCP and EUS, highly desirable
  • Comfortable managing adult gastroenterology patients

Additional Information

  • Hospital privileges required; estimated 60-90 days
  • Cerner and Endo Vault documentation systems
  • Established gastroenterology team with additional physicians on staff
  • Potential outpatient clinic schedule Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
  • Missouri licensure requirements to be confirmed
