Opportunity:

Physician - Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology


Job Details:

  • Perform procedures in the Endoscopy Suite on Mondays, Wednesdays, half-Thursdays, and Fridays

  • See patients in the office on Tuesdays and half-Thursdays

  • Take night call every night and round on any patient consults in the hospital

  • Overtime calculated after 40 hours, not on a daily basis

  • Expected patient encounters per shift: 20-25

  • Coverage need for May 18-22 available; please indicate provider availability

  • Required procedures include: Upper GI endoscopy (with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, injection of varices, and PEG), esophageal dilatation/manometry, small bowel biopsy, lower GI endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy (flexible and rigid preferred), and colonoscopy (with biopsy and excision of polyp)

  • Specialty: Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology

  • Board certification eligible minimum required; board certification not mandatory

  • Fellowship required
