Gastroenterology Physician

Position Overview:

Schedule & Workload Structure:

• Schedule: 1, 2, or 3-week blocks per month (Flexible, but must work the full block)

Shift Details:

• Monday Wednesday: 7:00 AM 5:00 PM in-hospital
  
• Thursday: 7:00 AM 5:00 PM in-hospital, followed by 5:00 PM 7:00 AM on call
  
• Week 1 Friday: 12:00 PM 5:00 PM in-hospital (consults & procedures), followed by 5:00 PM 7:00 AM on call
• Saturday & Sunday: 7:00 AM 5:00 PM in-hospital, followed by 5:00 PM 7:00 AM on call
  
• Week 2 Friday: 7:00 AM 12:00 PM in-hospital

Clinical Details & Support:

• Support Staff: In-house Anesthesia support available. Advanced Practice Provider (APP) available Monday through Friday (8:00 AM 3:00/4:00 PM) to assist with hospital consults (APPs do not work weekday holidays).
  
• Procedures: Standard GI procedures. ERCP is preferred; no EUS required.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Board Certification: Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Gastroenterology
  
• Licensure: Active Pennsylvania State Medical License (or active IMLC/LOQ in hand); willing-to-license candidates considered
  
• Certifications: Active DEA required
  
• Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of experience
