Requirements & Qualifications:

• Board Certification: BC in Gastroenterology
  
• Licensure: Active Michigan State Medical License required
  
• Certifications: Active BLS, ACLS, ATLS, and ABLS

• March 28 (7:00 AM) April 5 (7:00 AM)
  
• July 26 (7:00 AM) August 1 (7:00 AM)
  
• August 28 (7:00 AM) September 1 (7:00 AM)
  
• September 27 (7:00 AM) October 1 (7:00 AM)
  
• November 24 (7:00 AM) November 27 (7:00 AM)
  

Schedule & Call:

• Monday Friday: 9-hour shifts (includes 1-hour unpaid lunch)
  
• Overnight Call: 15-hour overnight call shift
  
• Weekend Call: 24-hour call
  

Clinical Responsibilities & Volume:

• Scope of Work: Hospital procedures + call coverage
  
• Patient Volume: Average 12 patients per day
  
• Charting: Provider is responsible for all charting and documentation independently (no scribe provided)
  
• Pathology & Follow-up: Provider must review all pathology results and coordinate patient result letters and follow-up care with the nursing staff
  

Procedures & Facility Details:

• Required Procedures: EGD, Colonoscopy, pH studies, Manometry, Sigmoidoscopy, PEG/PEG-J tube placement
  
• Preferred Procedures: ERCP / EUS
  
• Facility Setup: 4 procedure rooms / Endo Suites
  
• Equipment & Tech: Olympus equipment, Hydrogen breath testing, Capsule endoscopy
  
• EMR: Paragon & EndoPro
  
• Sedation: Propofol
  
• Support Staff: Well-established, highly accomplished Endo Unit team
