New Gastroenterologist Locums Job in Illinois Premium Rates Clinic and Outpatient

Dates of Coverage: Starting January 2027, Monday - Friday (7:30am - 5pm)

Details/Requirements for Assignment :
Outpatient Clinic and GI Procedure Labs
Average 10-16 procedures per shift, MAC Blocks and Procedural Sedation
Board Certified Gastroenterology, ACLS, BLS
Procedures required: Outpatient Colonoscopy and EGD
Olympus scope, ProVation reporting system (change to Lumens in 2027)
Clinic vs. Scopes ratio depends on availability but historically physicians are placed in endoscopy preferentially
Open access endoscopy and clinic APPs feed the procedure schedule
Bread and Butter EGD/colon
60-80% of time spent in procedure lab
Support Staff: 6 Full time, 2 part-time Ambulatory APPs in clinic, RN and CMA/MA in clinic, RN and Surg tech in Procedures.
Level 1 Trauma
