We are seeking a Board-Certified GastroenterologyPhysician for a locum tenens opportunity in Petoskey, MI. This hospital-basedposition includes weekday endoscopy and consultation coverage, along with24-hour weekend call on Saturdays and Sundays. The physician will join acollaborative team of gastroenterologists and advanced practice providers in awell-supported clinical setting.

PatientVolume: Approximately 18 outpatients and 20inpatient scopes per day
PracticeSetting: Hospital-based

SupportStaff: 2 physicians and 2 advanced practiceproviders
OnsiteResources: Laboratory and X-ray services
Responsibilities
Provide endoscopy services for inpatient andoutpatient populations.
Manage gastroenterology consultations duringscheduled coverage hours.
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients withgastrointestinal conditions.
Perform indicated endoscopic procedures anddevelop appropriate treatment plans.
Provide 24-hour weekend call coverage onSaturdays and Sundays.
Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and otherhealthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation inCerner.
Requirements
Board certification in Gastroenterologyrequired
Active Michigan medical license required
Current ACLS certification required
