Medical Center Redding is looking for additional Locum coverage through end of December 2026.

Schedule/Availability Requirements:

• Dec 21 at 3pm - Dec 27 at 3pm (24 hour call (7a-7a
• Jan dates TBD
• Facility Location: Redding, CA
• Setting: Inpatient, Emergency
• Duties: All GI duties
• Required Procedures: All GI procedures. ERCP is not mandatory but preferred.
• EMR: Cerner
• Support Staff: No
• Reason for Coverage: provider shortage
• Dealbreakers: recent malpractice/ behavior issues
• Patient Population: 18+ yrs
• Number of beds: 265
• Will this position require the provider to have current privileges at a TJC accredited hospital? Yes, this is required for Locums but we may be able to request a waiver.

Credentialing Information:

• Timeframe: Varies - Facility will grant Emergency/Temp Privs (120 day Temp Privs)
• Requirements: CA License
• Credentialing with other facilities? No

• Board Certified or Board Eligible - REQUIRED
• CA License - REQUIRED
• Clean Malpractice - REQUIRED
• CA DEA and ACLS - REQUIRED
• GI Fellowship - REQUIRED
• Must list availability for the open dates - REQUIRED
• ERCP Experience - PREFERRED
