Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Gastroenterology

Summary: We are currently seeking a dedicated gastroenterologist for locum coverage in Redding, California, offering an opportunity to work in a facility that provides comprehensive inpatient and emergency services. This position will be available until the end of December 2026, responding to a pressing provider shortage in the area.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform all GI duties required in an inpatient setting.
• Conduct all necessary GI procedures, with a preference for ERCP experience.
• Provide 24-hour call coverage.
• Document patient information using Cerner EMR.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Active California Medical License.
• Clean malpractice history.
• Current ACLS and DEA certifications.
• Completion of a GI fellowship.
• Must confirm availability for the specified open dates.
• ERCP experience is preferred.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active California Medical License.
• ACLS Certification.
• DEA Certification.
