Overview

In this role you will be a customer-facing Google Cloud Platform expert who designs and delivers modern cloud platforms and AI-enabled solutions tailored to business needs. You will lead technical discussions, shape migration and modernization strategies, and apply cloud services to enable AI adoption at enterprise scale. You’ll work across cloud foundations, data platforms, and security to drive measurable transformation. The opportunity centers on delivering high-availability cloud solutions and AI-driven outcomes in a collaborative, innovative environment.

Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver modern cloud platforms across cloud foundations, migration, and modernisation strategies
  • Lead technical discussions with clients to design optimal Google Cloud solutions
  • Advise on AI-enabled cloud architectures and responsible AI practices
  • Deliver cloud projects, assessments, workshops, and migration implementations
  • Identify automation opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, and speed
  • Contribute to internal innovation and client delivery across sectors
Key requirements
  • Extensive experience designing and architecting solutions on Google Cloud Platform (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
  • Proven experience with enterprise-scale migrations and various strategies (rehost, replatform, refactor, etc.)
  • Broad knowledge of core GCP services, including compute, containers, storage, networking, security, observability, DevOps, and cost management
  • Experience designing landing zones and cloud foundations (IAM, VPC, guardrails, logging, governance)
  • Experience building secure, scalable, highly available environments and integrating on-prem with Google Cloud
  • Strong Kubernetes and containerisation experience (GKE preferred) and IaC (Terraform)
  • Experience with AI-ready data platforms and AI/ML integration; awareness of generative AI patterns and governance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing client needs
  • Strong analytical and learning mindset, cross-team collaboration
