GCP Cloud Architect

As a Google Cloud Platform Technical Architect, you design and deliver modern cloud platforms on GCP, guiding migrations, modernization, and AI-enabled solutions. You lead technical discussions with clients and translate complex needs into scalable cloud architectures. You help organizations adopt AI, including generative AI, with responsible governance and practical automation. You work with cross-functional teams to drive cloud projects, improve operational efficiency, and advance digital transformation.

• Design and deliver modern cloud platforms on Google Cloud, covering foundations, provisioning, migration, and modernization
• Lead technical discussions with clients to define optimal cloud solutions
• Advise on AI-enabled cloud strategies and responsible AI practices, including generative AI
• Contribute to technical definitions, assessments, workshops, and migration implementations
• Identify opportunities for automation and AI-driven improvements to reliability, observability, and speed
• Collaborate with engineers and architects across sectors to deliver client outcomes
• Support cloud foundations, governance, security controls, and cost management
• Assist in scoping and delivering cloud projects with a focus on available, scalable solutions

• Extensive experience designing and architecting solutions on Google Cloud Platform across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
• Proven experience defining enterprise-scale migrations to Google Cloud with multiple strategies
• Hands-on knowledge of core GCP services across compute, containers, storage, databases, networking, security, observability, DevOps, and cost management
• Experience designing Google Cloud landing zones and cloud foundations (IAM, VPC, logging, monitoring, governance)
• Experience architecting secure, scalable, highly available cloud environments with on-prem integration
• Strong experience with containerised solutions, Kubernetes production platforms, microservices, and GKE
• Experience deploying infrastructure via IaC, particularly Terraform
• Experience designing AI-ready data platforms and AI integration with enterprise apps
• Understanding of generative AI patterns, AI governance, and data privacy considerations
• Strong analytical and learning ability; comfortable with rapid market changes
• Excellent English communication and stakeholder engagement skills
