Overview

In this role you will help Citi build GenAI-powered platforms that boost developer productivity and support a growing enterprise ecosystem. You’ll contribute to the technical vision across frontend, backend, APIs, and cloud components, while collaborating with cross-functional partners. You will promote engineering excellence through DevSecOps, drive platform adoption, and mentor team members. Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver GenAI platforms with broad developer impact
  • Shape and evolve the full-stack technical direction (frontend, backend, APIs, cloud, platform components)
  • Collaborate with technology and business partners to align application strategy with priorities
  • Promote DevSecOps practices and continuous improvement culture
  • Drive adoption of developer platforms, automation, and engineering standards
  • Mentor and advise team members to move projects forward
Key requirements
  • 3-5 years of relevant software development experience
  • Modern full-stack proficiency in Python and either frontend (TypeScript, React) or backend (Go)
  • Proven experience with AI-enabled or Generative AI solutions in an enterprise setting
  • Cloud-native development experience: Kubernetes, containers, microservices, event-driven architectures
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems, resiliency, scalability, and performance engineering
  • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases and API design/integration patterns
  • Strong collaboration and communication across teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Desirable: experience in financial services or regulated industries
  • Desirable: contributions to open-source projects
  • Desirable: experience with MLOps and deployment of ML models
