GenAI Full-Stack Engineer Lead

In this role you lead and shape the software engineering efforts within the Developer Enablement department, driving technical direction and cultural change. You will work across Citi teams to promote everything-as-code and modern tooling, while building AI-powered data-intensive applications. You combine hands-on coding with strategy, mentoring engineers and aligning with the product vision to deliver high-quality software. You’ll embrace Generative AI and stay current with new technologies to propel engineering outcomes and site reliability.

• Collaborate with diverse Citi teams to promote everything-as-code and adoption of Developer Engineering tooling and capabilities
• Build AI-powered, data-intensive applications
• Be hands-on with coding and software design to ensure high quality and best practices
• Mentor and nurture engineers to grow their skills
• Support and drive cultural change, emphasizing controls, processes, and continuous improvement

• Proven experience as Engineering Lead, Software Engineering Manager, or similar
• Strong expertise in Python, Go, and TypeScript, with related frameworks and tools
• Strong understanding of both SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, container-based microservices, distributed logs, and DevSecOps
• Experience in a product-focused team environment (beneficial)
