General Accountant Financial Reporting

Advanced Excel and costing skills define this General Accountant role at One Floral Group, supporting financial reporting for floral operations.

Reporting to the Controller, this position handles general accounting functions and management reporting. You will support reconciliations, capital expenditure schedules, budgeting, variance analysis, latest estimates, and key performance reporting. The role also supports finance operations, management decisions, and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare month-end and ad hoc journal entries
• Complete monthly and quarterly General Ledger reconciliations
• Prepare management financial reports and analysis
• Maintain capital asset records and expenditure reporting
• Support budgets, audits, and finance projects

Requirements:

• Finance, Business, or Accounting certificate or degree
• Three to five years of related accounting experience
• Costing experience is required for this position
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency and Microsoft Office knowledge
• Strong analytical, communication, and detail-oriented skills
