General Ledger Accountant CPA

General Ledger Accountant expertise in journal entries and reconciliations supports Corby Spirit and Wine Limited's North America Accounting team. This role contributes across multiple entities.

As a General Ledger Accountant, you will support monthly close, financial reporting, and compliance processes. The work includes balance sheet reconciliations, inventory activity, tax reporting, and internal controls. You will help maintain accurate financial operations for a world-renowned portfolio of brands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare journal entries supporting monthly close activities
• Complete intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations
• Record transactions involving billings, purchases, and inventory
• Prepare VAT filings and support tax reporting
• Analyze financial information and provide variance reporting

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Completed or actively progressing CPA designation
• Two to four years of similar accounting experience
• Knowledge of principles, reporting, and internal controls
• Experience with integrated systems and reconciliations
