Georgia Licensed Supervising Psychiatrist

To support a growing practice, the part-time Georgia Licensed Supervising Psychiatrist will supervise and mentor PMHNPs, contribute to clinical leadership decisions, and provide second opinion consultations while maintaining a flexible schedule with no on-call obligations. Key responsibilities Supervise and mentor up to 12 PMHNPs, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and compliant billing Provide second opinion consultations for complex cases and manage medications in alignment with measurement-based care Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and improve psychiatric care tools, workflows, and treatment guidelines Required qualifications Board-certified Psychiatrist (MD or DO) with an active, unrestricted federal DEA registration Active license to practice in Georgia Proven experience supervising Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) Knowledge of state-specific collaborative practice agreements and multi-state supervision regulations Experience with telemedicine platforms and virtual care delivery
