In this role you will provide expert geospatial technical support to customers, maintain and improve geospatial products, and ensure reliable, high-quality service. You will diagnose complex issues, deliver proactive solutions, and collaborate with internal and external teams to optimize delivery. You’ll contribute to best practices, documentation, and process improvements while engaging in site visits or installations as needed. This is a customer-facing, home-based role with occasional travel across UK locations, offering meaningful work in geospatial consultancy and service excellence.

- Respond to technical support inquiries from a range of customers
- Deliver GIS consultancy, maintaining and administering customer databases on-site and in the cloud
- Perform database administration tasks including backups, monitoring, alerts, and data recovery
- Create documentation and deliver training (online or on-premises) for customers and internal/external teams
- Contribute to data analysis and scenario modelling for emergency services clients
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to meet their objectives
- Collaborate with the technical services team and other groups to resolve complex inquiries
- Align work with NEC Values and expectations
- Background in Geospatial or related discipline to degree level
- Experience in technically supporting customers across multiple products
- Experience in a technical service desk environment with global customers
- Experience in analytical and statistical data modelling
- Good knowledge of relational database management systems (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
- Excellent communicator (personal and presentation skills)
