GitHub Actions Solution Engineer

GitHub Actions expertise defines this Solution Engineer position in Halifax, Nova Scotia, with four hybrid days each week. Build and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines.

Zodiac Solutions, Inc. seeks a Solution Engineer experienced with pipeline stages, build systems, and GitHub Actions workflows. The position involves runners, Jenkins, SonarQube, Terraform, UCD, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes. Candidates should understand Maven, NPM, PyPi, .NET, and MSBuild project types. You will support pipeline execution, configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and debug CI/CD pipeline stages
• Write POM and Settings files from scratch
• Configure and use SonarQube
• Deploy with Ansible, Terraform, and UCD
• Troubleshoot Kubernetes pods, logs, nodes, and events

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with GitHub Actions workflows, execution, and runners
• Experience with Jenkins declarative and multibranch pipelines
• Knowledge of Dockerfiles, commands, and containerization
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent IT experience
