Overview

In this role you drive the design, development and support of the Air Perishables digital product landscape within KN FreshLOG, enabling time-critical shipments to move globally. You collaborate with stakeholders across business, tech and operations to deliver end-to-end solutions and improve efficiency. You will contribute to architecture discussions, implement robust Java-based services, and advance cloud and CI/CD practices. This position offers exposure to innovative logistics tech in a global, agile environment with opportunities for growth and impact.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with operations and product stakeholders to analyze processes and design end-to-end solutions
  • Participate in design and architecture discussions
  • Write clean, well-tested code following agile principles
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and contribute to containerisation and cloud deployments
  • Optimize and stabilize Air Perishables applications
  • Partner with leadership and teams to deliver innovative, efficiency-enhancing solutions
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and share recommendations
  • Engage in regular sprint ceremonies
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Full-stack Java development experience with Java 17+
  • Strong Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, JUnit, CI/CD, Git, Maven, Docker expertise
  • Experience with JavaScript/HTML/CSS and frameworks like Angular/TypeScript; mobile tech (PWA, Ionic)
  • Relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and API integrations including REST and Kafka
  • Practical agile/Kanban experience in distributed teams and ability to work independently
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code) is advantageous
