Overview

As a Software Engineer at Goldman Sachs, you will design and develop scalable applications that empower business insights. Responsibilities
  • design and develop software using a mix of open source software, databases, cloud solutions, and programming languages
  • work in embedded or core engineering teams aligned with business partners
  • collaborate with trading, sales, asset management, banking, and finance to automate solutions
  • build reliable, scalable platforms for data engineering, machine learning, networking, and developer tooling
  • work with UI/UX designers, data scientists, and cloud engineers in an agile environment
Key requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience in CS, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline
  • expert knowledge in Java, C++, or Python; experience with concurrency and memory management
  • professional React/Angular/Redux experience and advanced JavaScript
  • experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Elasticsearch
  • strong data structures and algorithms fundamentals; performance-focused design
  • excellent written and verbal communication; problem solving and data-driven decision making
  • ability to multi-task, manage stakeholders, and work in a global team
