In this role, you will lead the UI-focused frontend efforts within the Digital Engineering team to deliver a consumer-grade digital experience for Transaction Banking. You’ll shape the frontend architecture and drive code quality, automation, and testability across a scalable, cloud-based platform. Collaborating with product owners, designers, and backend teams, you’ll cultivate engineering culture and talent while aligning the roadmap with business goals. This is a fast-paced, high-impact position that sits at the intersection of fintech innovation and customer experience.
Responsibilities- Lead design and implementation of critical UI components within the Digital Engineering stack
- Drive code quality, automation, and testability for UI solutions
- Collaborate closely with backend teams and product owners to deliver integrated features
- Develop and mentor a team of engineers, fostering talent and engineering culture
- Contribute to product vision, roadmap, and cross-functional alignment
- Support high-availability, blue-green/deployment strategies in cloud environments
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in modern UI development (JavaScript/TypeScript)
- Experience building modern UI products using React
- Proven ability to lead engineering teams and deliver complex products with multiple stakeholders
- Experience architecting full-stack apps in AWS
- Experience with active/active and blue-green deployment for high availability systems
- BS in Computer Science (or equivalent)
