Global Delta1 - Software Developer

In this role you will join a global, front-office engineering team to shape a high-performance multi-asset trading platform. You work closely with traders and quantitative researchers to translate business needs into technical solutions, improving and building tooling while managing the development backlog. The position emphasizes initiative, collaboration, and delivering revenue-generating capabilities within a globally distributed team. London office presence is required.

• Be part of the global Software Engineering team embedded in Global Delta One, working on the multi-asset trading platform
• Improve existing code and develop new tools
• Collaborate with traders and researchers to define solutions and articulate value of new capabilities
• Manage the technology backlog from ideation to deployment
• Coordinate with traders, researchers, software engineers and support teams across the organization

• 1-4 years of professional development
• Strong Python experience
• Ability to translate business requests into technical specifications
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience optimizing distributed systems
• Experience with data-intensive systems development
• Ability to teach others
• Must be able to come into the London office five days per week
• Experience with other programming languages is a plus
