The position offers a unique opportunity to influence the design and architecture of a high-performance trading system and ensure efficient development and deployment of revenue-generating solutions as part of an innovative front office team. Candidates should have strong initiative and proven experience driving projects from inception to completion.
We work from high-level requirements and programmers are expected to gain an intimate understanding of the business and work directly with Traders and Quantitative Researchers on a daily basis.ResponsibilitiesWork as part of our global team of Software Engineers embedded in our Global Delta One business, working on its multi-asset trading platformImprove existing code and develop new toolsCollaborate directly with traders and researchers to identify solutions and/or create technical specifications and clearly articulate value add of new capabilitiesManage a technology backlog from ideation to deploymentCollaborate with traders, researchers, software engineers and support teams elsewhere in the organizationQualificationsStrong xrnqpay preference for experience developing trading-related software or coming from a complex technology-based organizationBetween 1-4 years of professional development, demonstrating excellent, detailed understanding of PythonAble to analyse business requests and translate into technical specifications and solutionsAble to teach othersExperience optimising distributed systemsExperience of data-intensive systems developmentExcellent communication and organizational skillsMust be able to come into our London office five days per weekExperience with other programming languages is a plusFor more information about DRW's processing activities and our use of job applicants' data, please view our Privacy Notice at .#LI-SH1
