Overview

In this role you will be a hands-on Workday configuration expert focused on Advanced Compensation, shaping scalable salary and bonus workflows. You’ll translate compensation strategy into robust, cross-functional Workday solutions, collaborating with global stakeholders to ensure accurate cycles and data integrity. You’ll own end-to-end compensation processes while contributing to broader HR IT initiatives and platform improvements. This is a chance to impact a leading consulting firm by enabling precise, scalable compensation operations.

Responsibilities
  • Design and build sophisticated variable pay, merit, and allowances configurations within Workday
  • Own end-to-end execution of Annual Salary Reviews and merit grid setups
  • Configure Business Process Frameworks, condition rules, validations, and complex calculated fields
  • Collaborate with Product Team and HR/Compensation leaders to translate strategy into scalable solutions
  • Perform testing, validate configurations, and troubleshoot during Workday releases
  • Create clear specification documents for Workday modifications and new functionality
  • Ensure data integrity and support audits related to compensation
  • Stay updated on Workday tools and AI offerings and advocate for future enhancements
Key requirements
  • 7+ years of hands-on Workday Advanced Compensation and Core Compensation configuration
  • Strong knowledge of merit pools, proration rules, complex scorecards, eligibility rules, and integration points with Core HCM, Talent modules, and payroll systems
  • Workday Pro - Advanced Compensation certification preferred
  • Prior consulting experience as Workday Comp Lead or architecture on end-to-end implementations preferred
  • Experience with global, enterprise-scale Workday compensation projects preferred
  • Experience developing test plans and validating deployments
  • Familiarity with Workday Docs, BIRT for templates, and Workday Security Configuration preferred
  • Technical troubleshooting and performance debugging skills
