Overview
As a Global IT Support I, you enable smooth IT operations for GLI’s offices, ensuring courteous end-user support across locations. You’ll collaborate with the IT team to resolve issues, support deployments, and maintain systems while traveling to Europe. You protect data and security while documenting processes and training users. This role offers hands-on networking, application ownership, and the chance to contribute to GLI’s global gaming services mission.

- Respond to IT tickets in the tracking system and resolve issues promptly
- Troubleshoot and fix end-user problems; escalate when needed
- Assist IT staff in other locations to resolve issues
- Perform installations and end-user support in LAN/WAN environments
- Maintain logs, records, and reports of user assistance
- Provide hands-on training materials and documentation for IT applications/equipment
- Own specific applications/systems areas and maintain related diagrams
- Collaborate with department leaders to understand business needs for changes or new systems
- Evaluate interdependencies between systems and potential impacts of changes
- Maintain confidentiality of information processed or accessed
- Provide weekly workload, project, and issue reports to the IT Manager
- Schedule bi-annual auditing of company-issued laptops
- Maintain end-user applications, email, backups, user accounts, phone system modifications, PC setups
- Uphold network security per company policies and stay aware of remote access products
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor degree in IT or related technical discipline; certifications or training may substitute for experience
- Minimum 1 year of related experience
- Relevant technical skills/certifications as determined by management
- Working knowledge of network topology and remote access devices
- Ability to adapt business to technical communication for diverse audiences
- Strong problem-solving and quick decision-making abilities
- Proficient report writing and business communications
- English proficiency in speaking and writing; ability to communicate with internal and external parties
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Attention to quality, detail, and accuracy
- Technical discipline credentials may be substituted for experience
