Overview

In this senior role, you will define and lead Mace Consult's global Information Management capability, shaping strategy, governance, standards and service offerings. You will align IM with ISO 19650, digital delivery and the broader Project Controls agenda, while driving consistency across markets. You will build a global IM community, foster cross-functional collaboration and steer initiatives that improve project outcomes. You will act as the global authority for IM, shaping capability development and client-focused outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Define and execute the global IM strategy and roadmap aligned with the CoE and Consult objectives
  • Establish and continuously improve IM standards, governance, and assurance frameworks
  • Drive deployment and adoption of IM best practices across regions and markets
  • Own the IM narrative within the Mace Way and delivery frameworks
  • Set performance measures and assurance to drive continual IM delivery improvement
  • Maintain the IM body of knowledge, methodologies, templates, guidance and standards
  • Collaborate with Global CoEs to embed IM practices across markets and sectors
  • Facilitate governance and communication between global IM, regional hubs and CoEs
  • Identify capability gaps and opportunities for service enhancement with Global Unit CoEs
  • Lead a global IM community of practice and support professional development and accreditation
  • Provide strategic guidance on information governance, data management and lifecycle information workflows
  • Monitor industry trends and drive adoption of new tools and delivery methods
  • Support markets in developing and winning opportunities requiring IM expertise
  • Build relationships with clients, partners and industry bodies and represent Mace externally
  • Escalate IM challenges to senior leadership and ensure alignment with PMO, Digital Delivery and project management functions
Key requirements
  • Recognised authority in Information Management, Digital Delivery and Information Governance
  • Extensive experience leading IM across major programmes and projects
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 19650, UK BIM Framework and Common Data Environments
  • Understanding of Information Architecture, metadata, naming conventions and document control
  • Experience implementing IM strategies across geographies and sectors
  • Strong understanding of project controls and programme management
  • Up-to-date knowledge of market-leading IM and Digital Delivery platforms
  • Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management
  • Strong commercial awareness and business operations understanding
  • Professional qualifications and/or membership of relevant industry bodies
