Global Network Engineer

• Serve as the primary technical escalation point for the Level 1 Network Operations Center (NOC)
• Diagnose complex network performance bottlenecks, latency issues, and outages to maintain high availability
• Lead remote staging, configuration, and provisioning of branch networking hardware
• Provide remote technical leadership to field engineers during physical rack-and-stack, cabling, and patching phases
• Implement network designs provided by Global Network Architecture teams
• Execute enterprise rollouts for Software-Defined WAN (SD-WAN) and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) architecture
• Execute lifecycle patching, firmware updates, and vulnerability remediation across all network hardware
• Conduct automated and manual configuration audits to ensure 100% compliance with enterprise security baselines
• Monitor network telemetry and system health to identify and resolve performance degradation before impact

Requirements

• Demonstrated professional experience in a regional Network Operations (NetOps) or Network Engineering role
• Strong working knowledge of enterprise IT governance, compliance, and ITIL frameworks
• Ability to drive complex technical project milestones independently
• Capability to align network specialisation with broader enterprise IT and business objectives
• Demonstrated success working across multi-regional, cross-functional teams in different time zones
• Skill in decomposing enterprise cloud migrations into actionable, resource-allocated project steps
• Preferred: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CompTIA Network+, or Aruba Certified Switching Associate (ASCA)
• Preferred: ITIL® Foundation Certification in IT Service Management
