Global Payments Technology Engineer

Support global payments technology from Toronto using Kafka, REST APIs, and cloud platforms. Engineer I contributes to TD’s evolving transaction banking services.

TD Securities’ Global Transaction Banking technology team delivers solutions supporting liquidity, payments, and trade finance. As Engineer I, you will maintain technical solutions aligned with architectural principles, enterprise standards, and business needs. The position requires independent problem-solving and advanced discipline knowledge.

• Maintain solutions aligned with engineering and architecture principles
• Support efficiency, reliability, scalability, and security
• Operationalize solutions according to enterprise standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or graduate degree with strong academic background
• Four or more years of relevant experience
• Primary skills in Python, Kafka, and REST APIs
• Experience with OAuth2, Java, and Spring Boot
• Knowledge of cloud and operational technology tools
