Global Process Lead (Director), Master Data Management (MDM)

In this global role, you will lead the design of end-to-end processes and master data governance for a major ERP transformation. You’ll bridge business, data, and ERP teams to ensure scalable data standards and trusted data foundations. You’ll shape governance frameworks, ownership models, and data quality improvements that enable sustainable, enterprise-wide processes. • Lead end-to-end process design aligned with global standards
• Translate strategy into clear requirements, flows, and solution inputs
• Collaborate with stakeholders, data teams, and partners to integrate process, data, and system needs
• Drive process harmonisation and reduce local variation
• Validate designs against requirements, data integrity, and reporting needs
• Facilitate workshops and decision forums for alignment and decision-making
• Oversee testing activities and defect resolution
• Support change management, training, go-live readiness and post-implementation optimisation
• Lead the design and implementation of global MDM practices
• Bridge business process teams, data governance, and ERP transformation programs
• Establish ownership, governance, and accountability for enterprise master data
• Shape data foundations for a major ERP transformation
• Influence senior stakeholders to align on standards and controls
• Improve data quality, governance maturity across functions
• Translate global process vision into detailed process and data designs
• Lead process harmonisation across regions and units
• Own requirements and functional designs for SAP ERP implementation
• Ensure integration across process towers and business capabilities
• Define master data requirements aligned with enterprise standards and MDM frameworks
• Map processes to data ownership, governance controls, and data dependencies
• Act as primary process tower interface with System Integrator during design and deployment
• Lead process testing, defect management, and UAT sign-off
• Support business readiness, change management and training
• Partner with Global Process Owners to drive continuous improvement post go-live
• Ensure ERP readiness by aligning processes and data structures ahead of implementation
• Define and implement global master data standards, policies and workflows
• Establish governance frameworks aligning data management with ERP processes
• Ensure data consistency, integrity and control across process towers
• Drive accountability, stewardship and ownership models across the business
• Prevent data issues at source through governance, standards and controls
• Champion data quality and governance best practices across the organisation

• Significant experience leading MDM, Enterprise Data Management or Data Governance initiatives in large organisations
• Proven ability translating business processes into master data requirements, governance models and ownership frameworks
• Experience supporting or delivering large-scale ERP transformation programmes
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence without authority
• Successful track record establishing data governance frameworks, standards and controls
• Senior individual contributor or leadership capacity (Director-level)
• Consulting and transformation experience is advantageous
