Overview

In this senior, individual-contributor role, you will setRubrik’s global cloud architecture direction for Professional Services and lead the most strategic, high-impact engagements. You will shape reference architectures, guardrails, and service offerings, turning field learnings into scalable IP. You’ll operate across multi-region, multi-cloud, and regulated environments, partnering with Sales, Engineering, and customers to drive secure, resilient cloud delivery. This is a chance to influence product direction while elevating the practice and customer outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Own the global cloud architecture standard for Rubrik PS, including reference architectures and guardrails
  • Serve as final escalation point for cloud architecture decisions on strategic engagements
  • Define technical shape of cloud service offerings and deployment guidance
  • Lead the hardest engagements across multi-region, multi-cloud, and multi-regulator estates
  • Mentor and develop Solutions Architects and senior consultants
  • Represent PS externally at conferences and in published material
  • Influence product roadmap with field insights
  • Improve scoping models, estimates, and delivery methodology by turning field learnings into IP
Key requirements
  • 15+ years of experience overall
  • 8+ years as hands-on cloud architect at enterprise scale
  • Expert-level AWS and Azure; GCP strongly preferred
  • Deep knowledge of compute, storage, networking, identity, and encryption/key management
  • Strong automation with IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep), scripting (Python, PowerShell) and CI/CD
  • Experience owning multi-region/multi-account cloud estates
  • Executive communication with CIO/CTO-level stakeholders
  • Proven ability to build reusable technical IP
