Overview

In this Global Technology Engineer role, you will develop and deploy filling, capping, and upstream equipment technology across Reckitt’s production landscape. You’ll provide technical leadership, standardise equipment, and help build a vendor pool to improve cost, lead time, and best practices. You’ll work with factories, IT/OT, and procurement to ensure compliant, reliable operation aligned with GMP, FDA, MHRA and EU requirements. You’ll drive CAPEX-enabled improvements and act as the SME for related projects.

Responsibilities
  • Set common equipment standards with cross-functional SMEs across categories and geographies
  • Embed standardisation in CAPEX processes for equipment purchases
  • Coordinate with procurement to build a vendor pool for filling, capping, and upstream equipment and assist in tendering
  • Collaborate with vendors, system integrators, and IT/OT for installations and upgrades
  • Develop URSs and equipment standards and deploy them across the business
  • Provide technical guidance with up-to-date industry knowledge on relevant equipment
  • Lead delivery of key capital expenditure (Capex) projects
  • Support site and factory testing (FAT/SAT) and vendor monitoring
  • Monitor equipment performance and KPIs with OEMs; feed into continuous improvement with RPS and Operations teams
  • Keep standards aligned with regulatory requirements and technological trends
Key requirements
  • Minimum 7 years in engineering; at least 2 years in senior project or engineering leadership in consumer-packaged goods or pharmaceutical industries
  • Knowledge of liquid filling, capping, and blister packing equipment across product types
  • Experience driving equipment standardisation, ideally across multiple sites
  • Capex management experience including budgeting and performance monitoring
  • Experience in global or matrixed organisations with cross-functional/cross-regional collaboration
  • Strong technical background in filling technologies in pharmaceutical or personal care sectors
  • Knowledge of diverse viscosity handling and equipment technologies for filling and upstream processes
  • Understanding of process utilities (HVAC, drainage, compressed air, power, data networking) and cleaning (CIP)
