GMI Next Gen Migration Technology Lead

In this role you drive the migration of the GMI Back Office platform, leading technology teams and coordinating across streams. You’ll shape the target architecture, ensure non-functional requirements are met, and maintain a robust GMI ecosystem through the transition. You will partner with programme managers and vendor SMEs to hit delivery milestones, upholding high SDLC standards. This is a hands-on leadership position in a high-impact migration programme within Cleared Derivatives Technology.

• Direct GMI technology teams on the migration programme
• Collaborate with Programme Managers to plan and prioritise technology items
• Technically coordinate migration projects with other work streams
• Ensure non-functional requirements are met in the new solution
• Develop a clear, efficient, and clean ecosystem architecture
• Maintain the GMI ecosystem around its replacement platform
• Uphold the highest SDLC standards at all times

• Solid experience of GMI knowledge
• Solid experience of Futures & Options Clearing front to back knowledge (client allocations, clearing workflow, fees & commissions, margins, regulatory reporting)
• Experience leading technical delivery teams
• Good understanding of functional architectures within Clearing Technology space
• Ability to work with vendor SMEs to develop technical architecture/solutions
• Ability to work under pressure and hit delivery dates
