- Establish guidelines to reduce redundancy and promote reuse across the company
- Automate intricate manual tasks across multiple systems
- Provide guidance and support to fellow engineers in maintaining systems
- Evaluate modern technologies and development methodologies for integration
- Maintain and update existing infrastructure and tools as needed
- Participate in discussions about third-party systems from a commercial perspective
- Proficiency in Go (also Python or C)
- Strong automation experience
- Solid Linux experience (RedHat/Debian), TCP/IP networking, and storage technologies
- Excellent experience with Git, IDEs, CI/CD, and test-driven development
