Overview

You will join the global Loyalty and Benefits platform as a Golang Software Engineer, focusing on the Account domain. You’ll design and implement features and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to share platform knowledge and best practices. This role challenges you to build robust backend services and contribute to end‑to‑end customer journeys. You’ll work in a hybrid setup and continuously learn through hands‑on delivery and TDD. This is an opportunity to shape scalable backend solutions in a specialist tech environment.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement features in the Account domain
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to exchange best practices and platform knowledge
  • Contribute to backend service development within a microservices architecture
  • Support end‑to‑end customer journeys through robust back-end systems
  • Contribute to quality through automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
Key requirements
  • Proven hands-on backend development with at least one type-safe language (Golang strongly preferred)
  • Bachelor in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Experience with backend microservices, RESTful APIs, and asynchronous messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
  • Experience operating within Scrum frameworks
  • Strong foundation in Test-Driven Development across testing tiers
  • Practical experience with CI/CD/CT pipelines, automated testing, Git, SVN, Jenkins, JIRA, Rally
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, TDD, BDD, Waterfall)
  • Interpersonal communication
