This leading global financial company is seeking a Golang Engineer II to join the Global Loyalty & Benefits Platform team. The successful candidate will work within a Scrum-based engineering team developing backend services, business functionality and customer journeys. Golang is the preferred programming language. Responsibilities Design, develop and maintain backend applications and microservices. Build REST APIs and service integrations. Develop services using Golang or another relevant type-safe backend language. Implement asynchronous communication using Kafka, RabbitMQ or equivalent messaging technologies. Write and maintain automated unit, component, functional, integration and regression tests. Support software through continuous integration and deployment pipelines. Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews and technical discussions. Collaborate with engineers, product stakeholders and other delivery team members. Support applications through development, testing, deployment and production. Required experience Commercial backend software engineering experience. experience in Golang or another type-safe backend language. Backend microservices and REST API development. Kafka, RabbitMQ or comparable asynchronous messaging. Automated testing and CI/CD. Git-based version control. Agile or Scrum delivery. Ability to attend the Burgess Hill office three days per week.
