Build Google Cloud data solutions using Spark, Beam, Java, Python, or SQL while advising customers through complex technical challenges.

As a Data Developer in Google Cloud Consulting Professional Services, you will guide customers across data ingestion, storage, processing, analysis, exploration, and visualization. You will manage client-facing projects, troubleshoot technical issues, and collaborate with Development and Sales Services teams. The work includes scalable data processing systems, efficient pipelines, migrations, and transformations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise customers on complex Big Data and AI challenges
  • Recommend Google Cloud designs for database performance and deployment
  • Lead data migrations and transformations for customer environments
  • Create tutorials, sample code, presentations, and technical recommendations
  • Travel in-region up to 30% for customer activities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Three years using data processing software and algorithms
  • Experience with Spark, Beam, or comparable data processing software
  • Experience writing software in Java, Python, or SQL
  • Experience managing client-facing projects and troubleshooting technical issues
