Overview
In this Cloud Platform DevOps role, you will build, optimise and operate the GCP networking foundations that underpin Lloyds’ modern cloud platform. You will influence technical direction and deliver scalable networking in an enterprise environment as part of a forward‑looking engineering team. The role focuses on fast, secure, and resilient cloud capabilities that support developers and the organisation’s cloud strategy. You’ll work across networks, systems and software teams to drive reliable, end‑to‑end delivery.

- Design, configure and optimise GCP networking at enterprise scale
- Own end‑to‑end product lifecycle within the engineering team
- Manage incidents and resolutions to improve reliability
- Review peer code changes and contribute to DevOps practices
- Collaborate with Networks, Systems and Software Engineering teams to deliver new designs
- Develop and deploy infrastructure as code for networking features
- GCP networking expertise at enterprise scale (Interconnect, VPC, Cloud Router, Firewalls, DNS, Cloud NAT, IAM, VPC-SC)
- Experience with GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, Storage and Data/AI products
- DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines using Git, Terraform Cloud, HashiCorp Vault, Harness, Jenkins
- Incident management and problem-solving for reliability
- Code review and end‑to‑end product lifecycle ownership
- Bash and/or Python for infrastructure development
- Terraform proficiency
