Governance Control Testing Manager

Lead risk-based control testing for TD Securities in Toronto, applying wholesale banking knowledge and strong analytical skills in an office-focused setting.

As Manager II, Governance & Control, you will support TD Securities businesses with regulatory adherence, risk management, and operational controls. Reporting to the Senior Manager, TDS G&C, you will oversee testers, coordinate delivery, and work with Control Partners. The role supports consistent governance across wholesale banking businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide functional oversight for risk-based control testing
• Coordinate testing activities, workloads, guidance, and training
• Review testing deliverables and monitor established timelines
• Recommend control automation, enhancements, and process improvements
• Support executive reporting with meaningful testing insights

Requirements:

• University or post-graduate degree
• Experience as a people leader
• Minimum five years of risk, audit, or compliance experience
• Strong wholesale banking knowledge preferred
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
