Graduate Financial Accountant

About the Role

Our client, a prominent auditing and advisory firm in Kimberley , is seeking a driven Graduate Financial Accountant to join their esteemed finance team. This role provides a foundational experience in accounting principles, financial reporting, and audit support. You will work closely with experienced accountants, gaining practical exposure to various financial aspects of diverse businesses. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports in accordance with accounting standards.
• Perform account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
• Support the audit process by gathering necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
• Contribute to month-end and year-end closing procedures.

Requirements

• BCom or equivalent degree in Accounting or Financial Management.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
