Greenspace Development Manager

In this role you will lead the development and enhancement of Birmingham’s parks and green spaces, aligning with the City of Nature vision. You will engage communities, partners and stakeholders to prioritise investment, deliver improvement programmes, and secure external funding. You will drive biodiversity, accessibility, and safety improvements through accountable project delivery. You will work at city scale, shaping vibrant, sustainable spaces that benefit people and wildlife.

• Manage and enhance parks and green spaces across the city
• Lead community engagement and partnership working
• Deliver improvement projects and oversee budgets and contractors
• Support funding bids, investment planning and Green Flag applications
• Ensure health and safety and environmental compliance

• Proven experience in park development, project management or related field
• Strong track record delivering successful projects and partnerships
• Genuine passion for green spaces, nature recovery and community engagement
• Full UK driving licence
