Greenspace Development Manager

In this role you will lead the development and enhancement of Birmingham’s parks and green spaces, working with communities and partners to deliver local priorities. You will drive improvement programmes, support funding and partnerships, and ensure safety, sustainability, and accessibility. The role supports the City of Nature 25-Year Plan, shaping spaces that benefit both people and wildlife. You will collaborate across teams to deliver high-impact, community-focused park projects.

• Lead community engagement and partnership working

• Support funding bids, investment planning and Green Flag applications
• Ensure health and safety and environmental compliance

• Proven experience in park development, project management or a related field
• Strong track record of delivering successful projects and partnerships
• Genuine passion for green spaces, nature recovery and community engagement
• Full UK driving licence
