Group Controller Financial Reporting

Lead financial reporting as Group Controller in Markham, working in-office with frequent travel throughout the GTA. Bring CPA expertise and IFRS knowledge.

This senior finance leadership role manages multiple entities across a global building materials and manufacturing organization. You will oversee reporting, consolidation, accounting operations, internal controls, budgeting, forecasts, and finance transformation. The role includes direct and indirect local reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead financial accounting and reporting across multiple entities
• Review reconciliations, provisions, journal entries, and P&L analysis
• Support monthly consolidation and group close processes
• Oversee payables, receivables, inventory, fixed assets, and general ledger
• Strengthen internal controls and financial reporting integrity

Requirements:

• CPA designation
• At least eight years of progressive senior financial leadership experience
• Strong financial reporting expertise in construction or manufacturing
• Technical knowledge of IFRS, ASPE, compliance, and internal controls
• Strong ERP knowledge and process improvement experience
