- The candidate must actively engage with clients to identify their needs and provide appropriate guidance.
- The candidate must deliver professional advice and education related to complex credit and investment needs.
- The candidate will be required to participate in RBC at Work Group Advantage events and onboarding activities.
- The candidate will be required to collaborate with market-leading professionals in Group Advantage, financial planning, retirement planning, mortgages, and business banking experts to ensure clients receive customized and targeted expert advice.
- The candidate must leverage technology to enhance client experience and drive sales and retention.
- The candidate must take ownership of resolving and preventing client banking issues.
- The candidate will be required to implement contact and relationship building strategies and supporting new client acquisition in the local community.
- The candidate must educate clients on the features and benefits of RBC products and services, and assisting with digital banking including mobile, ATM, and online banking.
Job Requirements
- The candidate must hold a valid Mutual Funds accreditation, such as Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course.
- The candidate must have completed the Certificate in Financial Services Advice, offered through the CSI (i.e. Personal Financial Service Advice and Financial Planning I).
- The candidate must have 2-3 years of proven experience in financial services, handling credit and investments, and converting pipeline leads into results for clients.
- The candidate must demonstrate the ability to build trust and rapport quickly and maintain long-term relationships with clients and partners.
- The candidate must be agile and adaptable, with strong presentation skills and comfort presenting in group environments.
- The candidate must demonstrate digital savviness across multiple platforms and devices, including sales platforms, e-signature tools, and mobile technologies.
- The candidate must be fluent in a second language.
- The candidate must be active in developing strong network within the local community.
- The candidate should have familiarity with the Group Advantage value proposition.
