Group Technical Program Manager: Cloud & Platform Ecosystems

In this role, you lead a high-visibility TPM team within Booking.com’s Cloud & Platform Ecosystems, driving cross‑department programs that span infrastructure tooling, platform development, onboarding, and change management. You partner with senior leaders to shape strategy, manage capacity, and deliver complex, outcomes‑driven roadmaps for cloud adoption. You influence across engineering, product, and operations to raise the bar on craft, collaboration, and impact. This is a hands‑on leadership role at scale, enabling fast, secure cloud‑enabled innovation.

• Lead and manage the Technical Program Management team (~8-10 people plus contractor)
• Set direction translating priorities into practical programs, objectives, roles, and near-term focus
• Provide coaching, feedback, and development planning for team members
• Own performance management and calibration for direct reports
• Foster a healthy, inclusive, high-performing team culture
• Promote autonomy with support and escalation when needed
• Improve team delivery predictability, quality, and business impact
• Collaborate with leadership to craft strategy and department priorities
• Manage TPM Quality, Capacity, and Operating Rhythm, including reporting quality for Monthly Business Reviews and Steer Co
• Balance team capacity across programs, ensuring high-priority initiatives are staffed
• Establish operating rhythms (meetings, reviews, planning, retrospectives)
• Drive strategic programs and relationships with AWS and GCP and other vendors
• Develop learning and enablement programs for Cloud adoption
• Contribute to the TPM craft across Core Platforms and Tech community
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of TPMs
• Partner with engineering, product, and operations for clear accountability and collaboration
• Role is a hub for cross-functional coordination and strategic execution

• 10+ years in Technical Program Management with enterprise delivery experience
• 3+ years directly managing and developing talent
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to operate in high-ambiguity, cross-functional environments
• Experience delivering large-scale systems, platforms, or technology solutions
• Proven track record of defining program documentation and roadmaps
• 2+ years leading and developing Technical Program Managers
• Strong organizational and execution skills with risk/dependency management
• Technical fluency bridging containerized compute, network infra, and LLM architectures
