Guidewire Developer

We are looking for a Guidewire Developer for a 6 months contract with high possibility of extension. Role ideally is hybrid in Downtown Toronto, but open for full remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain solutions within the Guidewire platform.
• Work closely with business and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Configure and maintain Guidewire Product Model components.
• Support Home insurance Line of Business functionality and related business processes.
• Participate in development, testing, troubleshooting, and production support activities.
• Review technical requirements and translate them into scalable Guidewire solutions.
• Collaborate with other developers, architects, QA, and business stakeholders.
• Follow established development standards, best practices, and SDLC processes.

Required Qualifications

• Experience working with the Home insurance Line of Business .
• Hands-on experience with Guidewire Product Model configuration .
• Strong understanding of Guidewire architecture, configuration, and development practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to quickly understand existing applications and contribute to an established development team.
